Motel Policies

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at the Ester Lee. Below are motel policies and procedures: read them carefully. As our guests, by reading and signing your motel registration card at check-in you are agreeing to abide by our policies and procedures.

Check-In and Check-Out Policy

Check-in time is after 3pm in the afternoon and not before on your arrival date. Check-out is noon on your departure date. Late check outs will be charged a minimum of $ 25.00 and up to an extra room night.

Early Departure Policy

All departures prior to date agreed at time of check-in will be subject to one night?s room and tax early departure charge. If we are able to re-rent the room we will gladly refund the charge to you.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Your card will be charged at the time the reservation is made. There is a $10 anytime cancellation fee and a 72 hour cancellation policy. We do require three full days advance notification for cancellation to avoid charges equal to the first night stay.

Cash Payments

If paying cash there must be a valid credit card on file, or a $50 cash deposit must be left at the desk at the time of check-in and is refundable at the time of check-out.

Smoking Policy

All guest rooms are 100% non-smoking. A $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.

Lost and Found Policy

Ester Lee Motel is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. Should any guests lose personal belongings during their stay, if recovered, the item will be recorded as 'found'. We will ship items back at the owner's expense. Any items in the Lost & Found, which are not claimed within ninety (90) days, will be donated to a local charity or discarded.

General Policy

Ester Lee Motel has a zero tolerance policy in which it will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in the motel or may remove a person who: while on the premises of the motel acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner, destroys or threatens to destroy motel property, or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses or is unable to pay for the accommodations or services. Ester Lee Motel may limit the number of persons who may occupy a particular guest room in the motel and will only allow registered guests to use its facilities. A person who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the motel or any furniture or furnishings within the motel, shall be liable for damages sustained by the motel staff, including the motel's loss of revenue resulting from the inability to rent the rooms while the damage is being repaired.

Cleaning Policy

Upon check-out the room must be left in a reasonably tidy condition. All dishes pots, pans and cutlery need to be clean. Leaving the room excessively dirty will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $25.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in designated cottages. There is a daily fee for each pet per night, with a two pet maximum. You are responsible for any damages caused by your pet. There is a $50 minimum damage fee. There is also a $50 charge for any undeclared pet. Do not leave pets uncrated in the room while you are gone.
